Congratulations Graicie Mattox From Howe 4H - She won 1st place at the 4H speech Competition. She spoke over bees!

Howe HS Senior T-Shirt Survey (to be completed only once per Senior only)

High School Track meet at Wilburton March 26, 2015 Relay Medals and Points:

Girls 400 meter Relay and 800 Meter relay. We placed third in both

Relay team is: Jentry Brown, Macee Williams, Morgan Turner, Kerstein Hall

Kerstein Hall placed 6th in the 100 meters

Julianne Ford placed 6th in the Mile run

Boys 3200 meter relay placed fifth:

Relay team was Michael Coggins, Kaleb Smith, Noah Coggins, and Tyler Stacy


Any student who plans to do the Choctaw Nation Summer Work Program must mail out their applications this week, they are due April 1st.


Congratulations to Tayla Owen and Joseph Swarts.  They placed 2nd in the State FCCLA ENTREPRENEUR event.  They advance to the National competition in Washington DC this summer.


The Lady Lions play Friday, March 27 in the LeFlore Softball Tournament at 5:15 pm against Whitesboro at LeFlore.  Good luck Lady Lions!


Congratulations to Freshman Kursty Horton.  She qualified for the State FFA Choir and will perform at the State FFA Convention.

Congratulations to Senior LuAnn Davis! She was selected to the  OKLAHOMA GIRLS BASKETBALL COACHES ASSOCIATION East All-State Team.

Seniors, the C. Robert Reed Scholarship and the Educational Talent Search Scholarship deadline is Tuesday, March 31st.  Mrs. Wright would like to say a big THANK YOU to all those who have already turned theirs in to her.

Box Tops Program at Howe Public Schools

In an effort to raise additional funds for our classrooms, Howe Public Schools participates in General Mills Box Tops for Education program. The program has been an easy way for parents and students to earn cash that goes directly to the school. 

If community members are interested in contributing to Howe Public Schools’ efforts by donating Box Tops, please send your clipped box tops to your student’s classroom teacher or building secretary. About Box Tops for Education

  • Box Tops for Education is a program started by General Mills which helps communities provide kids the tools needed for success by generating cash schools can use for what they need most
  • America’s schools have earned more than $600 million through Box Tops for Education since the program began in 1996
  • Enrolled schools earned more than $80 million dollars for the 2013-2014 school year
  • More than 90,000 K-8th grade schools participate in the program
  • There are more than 90,000 Coordinators involved in the program

How the Program Works

  • There are more than 250 participating products in 42 food and non-food categories that carry Box Tops on their packages
  • Each Box Tops clip is worth 10 cents 
  • It’s simple. Buy the products; clip the Box Tops; send the Box Tops to school. 
  • Each enrolled school has a Box Tops Coordinator that counts and submits all of their Box Tops to General Mills
  • Enrolled schools receive two checks a year from General Mills to purchase the things they need like: books, school supplies, playground equipment, teacher training, computers, etc. 
  • Enrolled schools can earn up to $20,000 every school year by clipping Box Tops from participating products
  • Schools can also earn through Bonus Box Tops offers, sweepstakes, and contests
  • There are not any restrictions on how each school spends their check. Schools can spend their cash to buy what they need most
