1st hr. 4th L.A.- Students started class each day by writing in their journals, doing the Daily Language Activity, & practicing handwriting. I taught the following lesson objectives: Distinguished between complete sentences & sentence fragments, identified statements  & questions, wrote sentences with beginning capital letters & correct punctuation.

4th L.A.-

Students started class each day by writing in their journal, doing the Daily Language Review, & practicing handwriting. Students did Unit 13 Check-up & took the test. The following skills were covered: What is an adverb, comparing with adverbs, using good & well, & negatives. Most did well! Students did Study Island when they finished assignments.

4th S.S.-

Students did Unit 4 review & studied notes. Test will be Monday.…

Week of April 29-May 3, Shawna Oglesby

4th L.A.-

Students started class each day by practicing their handwriting, doing the Daily Language Review activity, & writing in their journal. Continued with Chapter 13. Lesson Objectives: Used only one negative word in a sentence, labeled & put in order the five parts of a letter, & wrote & revised the first draft of a friendly letter. Students did Study Island when they finished their assignments.

Students started class each day by practicing handwriting, doing the Daily Language Review, & writing in their journal. Lesson Objectives: Finding Words in a Dictionary, identified adverbs in sentences, recognized whether an adverb tells how, when, or where about the verb, & made up & wrote sentences with adverbs.  Added -er & -est to short adverbs to compare actions, & added more & most to adverbs that end in -ly to compare actions.
