Taking a "Paws" to Praise Our Most Innovative and Creative Projects

Week of August 22, 2011

Wow! This has been quite a week. Welcome to all my third grade students. We have started off really good. This week we have completed several activities that have helped me get to know them a little better. We made a "Me" that they had write words that described themselves. Each student designed their own trading cards by following the directions they were given. The students designed summer t-shirts and wrote a story about what they did this summer. They did a couple of math pre-assessments and worked some simple addition and subtraction papers. I had students do a classroom scavenger hunt to help them learn where things were located in our classroom. Next week we will hit the floor running. Math will be in full swing.
